Routine upkeep, top-to-bottom deep cleans, vacant-home move-in/out cleaning and post-construction cleanup across North Texas. Here’s exactly what each service includes.
Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly
Routine Cleaning
Regular upkeep throughout your occupied home, so kitchens, bathrooms and floors stay fresh between deep cleans.
Throughout your entire occupied home
- Ceiling fan (dusted)
- Cobwebs removed if visible
- Blinds and/or shutters (dusted)
- Baseboards (dusted)
- Window sills and Ledges (dusted)
- Pictures and/or knick-knacks (dusted)
- Uncluttered shelves (dusted)
- Furniture (wiped/dusted all around)
- All doors and frames (wiped as needed)
- Light switch plates (wiped as needed)
- All sinks (scrubbed and disinfected)
- Mirrors (cleaned)
- Waste baskets (emptied/relined)
- Beds made (sheets must be left on top of bed)
- Stairs (vacuumed)
- Floors (vacuumed and/or mopped)
Kitchen
- Outside of appliances – inside of microwave
- Stovetops (scrubbed – depending of finish)
- Cabinet fronts (hand wiped as needed)
- Counter tops and backsplashes (hand washed)
Bathrooms
- Cabinet fronts (hand wiped as needed)
- Tub/shower and tiles (hand scrubbed for buildup)

Top-to-Bottom Deep Cleaning
Our most detailed clean for occupied homes: a great first visit, or a one-time reset.
Throughout your entire occupied home
- Ceiling fan blades within 2-step ladder reach or extension* (wiped and/or dusted)
- Light fixtures with 2-step ladder reach (wiped/dusted in place/not removed)
- Cobwebs removed with extensions throughout walls
- Blinds and/or shutters (wiped and/or dusted – not washed)
- Baseboards (wiped and/or dusted – reachable w/o moving furniture)
- Window sills and Ledges (wiped and/or dusted)
- Pictures and/or knick-knacks (dusted)
- Uncluttered shelves within 2-step ladder reach (wiped and/or dusted)
- Furniture (wiped/dusted all around)

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
For vacant homes, make-ready and move in/out cleanings, we complete every item in the Top-to-Bottom Deep Cleaning, plus:
- All of the Top-to-Bottom Deep Cleaning items above
- Drawers, empty shelves, inside of cabinets (hand wiped)
How to prepare
Your home should be free of all personal items and furniture. Our Move-in/out cleanings are very detailed and require us to have access to every inch of the home. There must be running water and electricity for us to clean. We also require the home to be at a comfortable temperature.
*there will be an additional charge for homes without running water and/or electricity or if we need to bag up trash.

Rough to final
Construction Cleaning
Graceful Maids has a division committed to post construction cleaning from rough to final.
Rough Cleaning
Rough cleaning is performed before incoming subcontractors come in to do their work such a painters and installers of flooring, fixtures, and cabinets. Services include:
- Eliminate small debris and trash
- Remove stickers/plastics
- Sweep and damp mop floors
- Damp mop vertical/horizontal surfaces to remove as much dust as possible
Final Cleaning
Final cleaning is done once the construction process is entirely complete, prior to final walk-through and receiving the Certificate of Occupancy. Our final construction cleaning services include:
- Dust all vertical and horizontal surfaces top to bottom
- Vacuum and/or sweep/damp mop all floors
- Clean/sanitize kitchens and bathrooms
- Polish stainless steel
- Clean window sills and window frames
- Wash all glass/mirrors
*Windows are cleaned separately
Touch-up Cleaning
Touch-up cleaning is not required for all projects. Typically, it is done after a final cleaning because there has been a delay in occupancy of the home/building or to touch up after a revisit of a returning contractor.
Disclaimer
We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder during a maid service. Higher items will only be dusted with an extension duster. We do not move furniture, but we can dust/clean around visible areas by hand or extensions. Some homes might have light fixtures, ceilings, fans or window ledges we cannot reach with extensions. We cannot guarantee the results of blinds/shutter cleaning from excessive buildup. Please allow for some dust resettlement after we are done, we try to limit the dust in the air by vacuuming as much a possible but cannot prevent entirely.
